Vancouver Civil Litigation Lawyer

Daniele Zerbo joined Meridian Law Group in June 2023 as an articled student and was called to the bar in 2024. Daniele practices general civil litigation in areas including insurance defence, commercial litigation, wills and estates, and property matters. He has represented clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and administrative tribunals.

Daniele has an excellent academic track record. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with distinction where he gained firsthand insight into various socioeconomic issues and how those intersect with crime and associated policy responses. He developed a keen sense of curiosity and has a strong analytical background.

Before joining Meridian Law Group, Daniele obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law. During his time at law school, Daniele spent his summers volunteering with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program providing legal advice and represented to underserved individuals within the Greater Vancouver Area. He served as an assistant editor for both the Canadian Journal of Human Rights and Appeal: Review of Current Law and Law Reform. Daniele also volunteered with the Pacific Centre for Environmental Law and Litigation where he collaborated with a group of individuals in the area of climate litigation.

Daniele is passionate about access to justice and is committed to upholding the rule of law. He prides himself in his ability to form and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships and deals with problems by developing strategic solutions that consider risk and client needs. 

Before law, Daniele held various roles including as a gardener, a telecommunications customer relations consultant, and a legal assistant. Daniele’s family immigrated to Canada from Italy, and he is a first-generation Canadian. He is fluent in both English and Italian.

In his spare time, Daniele enjoys reading, gardening and playing golf.
