Leon Beukman Recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada™ for Insurance Law
Leon L. Beukman has practiced civil litigation for more than 30 years, with a primary focus on defending insurance claims involving automobile, aviation, and product liability matters. His practice also includes complex contractual and commercial disputes, professional negligence claims, and aviation matters involving airlines, general aviation operators, and manufacturers.
Leon has represented both plaintiffs and defendants at trial and has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, including in civil jury trials, summary trials, Chambers applications, and mediations. Before being called to the British Columbia Bar, he practiced in South Africa as an attorney of the Supreme Court of South Africa from 1989 to 1991 and as an advocate from 1991 to 1998.
