Sarah MacDonald joined Meridian Law Group in May 2024 as an articled student and was called to the bar in 2025. Sarah practices in general civil litigation, including insurance law, personal injury, commercial litigation, property matters, and estate litigation. She has represented clients before the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Sarah graduated with an Honours Specialization in International Relations from Western University in 2021. During her undergraduate studies, she studied abroad at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Through many United Nations simulations, Sarah developed a strong foundation in negotiation and advocacy that inspired her to pursue a career as a litigator.

While obtaining her JD at the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, Sarah was involved in a number of student organizations, including numerous leadership roles on the Law Students’ Society, the Animal Justice Club, and the Allard Law Women’s Caucus. She was the 2023 recipient of the Marlee G. Kline Essay Prize, and represented Allard at the 2024 BC Law Schools Competitive Moot.

Outside of the office, she enjoys crochet, spin, and tennis.
