Mia Bottos practices exclusively in family law. She represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including separation and divorce, complex property division, parenting and contact arrangements, support arrangements, and pet custody disputes. Mia is committed to helping her clients navigate difficult transitions with compassionate, clear advice and a focus on achieving practical, long-term solutions.

Mia has appeared before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia. She is well-versed in alternative dispute resolutions and prefers to resolve family disputes through mediation wherever possible. Should litigation prove necessary, she is a diligent and confident advocate in the courtroom. She approaches each matter with empathy, diligence, and a practical mindset, recognizing that family law disputes are often deeply personal and emotionally challenging

Prior to joining Meridian Law Group, Mia practiced family law at well-regarded boutique family law firm in downtown Vancouver, and later in the family group at a regional law firm. Through this background, Mia developed experience handling a broad range of high-conflict and complex family law matters.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Mia remains a lifelong fan of the Edmonton Oilers and good winter tires. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors and adding to her ever-growing hold list at the public library.
