Maren Tergesen joined Meridian Law Group in July 2025 as an articled student.

Maren graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law, where she obtained her juris doctor with a specialization in Indigenous Legal Studies. During her studies, Maren worked as a legal research assistant in housing policy and tenancy law. She also served as president for Legal Education Outreach, a club dedicated to reducing informational barriers about law school and the legal profession, volunteered extensively with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and completed temporary articles at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic.

Before law school, Maren graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of British Columbia and worked as a research assistant in social science research.

Maren enjoys hiking, mushroom foraging, and making fresh pasta.
