Vancouver Civil Litigation Lawyer

Daniele Zerbo joined Meridian Law Group in June 2023, initially as an articled student, and was subsequently called to the bar in 2024. His practice focuses on general civil litigation, encompassing a broad spectrum of areas including commercial litigationwills and estates, adult guardianship, family law, and complex property disputes. Mr. Zerbo has effectively represented clients before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and various administrative tribunals.

Mr. Zerbo’s legal career is underpinned by a distinguished academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with distinction, where he cultivated a profound understanding of socioeconomic issues and their intersection with criminal justice policy. This foundational experience honed his analytical abilities and fostered a keen sense of inquiry.

Prior to joining Meridian Law Group, Mr. Zerbo obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law. During his legal studies, he dedicated his summers to volunteering with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, providing essential legal advice and representation to underserved individuals throughout the Greater Vancouver Area. His commitment to legal scholarship is further evidenced by his roles as an assistant editor for both the Canadian Journal of Human Rights and Appeal: Review of Current Law and Law Reform. Additionally, Mr. Zerbo volunteered with the Pacific Centre for Environmental Law and Litigation, collaborating on initiatives in the field of climate litigation.

Mr. Zerbo is deeply committed to access to justice and the upholding of the rule of law. He is recognized for his ability to cultivate and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, and approaches legal challenges by developing strategic solutions that meticulously assess risk and prioritize client needs.

Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Zerbo gained diverse professional experience, including roles as a gardener, a telecommunications customer relations consultant, and a legal assistant. As a first-generation Canadian whose family immigrated from Italy, Mr. Zerbo is fluent in both English and Italian, further enhancing his ability to connect with a diverse clientele.

In his personal time, Mr. Zerbo enjoys reading, gardening, and playing golf.
