Alina is a dedicated advocate who always stood for those who could not stand for themselves. Alina is an internationally trained lawyer from Romania, where she earned her LL.B in Civil system. She moved to Canada in 2010, where she worked her way up from legal administrative assistant to paralegal. Her passion for supporting people through difficult times inspired her to return to school in 2019 and attend UBC to become an accredited lawyer in BC. Alina obtained her Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies Canada in January 2021, allowing her to practice law in Canada. Alina was called to the Bar in August 2022 and joined Meridian Law Group as associate counsel in January 2025. Her practice is focused mainly on family law and civil litigation. She thoughtfully delivers legal services and prioritizes educating her clients on court procedures, relevant legal principles and out-of-court dispute resolution alternatives. Alina has experience appearing before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
