Bahij is an associate at Meridian Law Group. Bahij practices commercial litigation, construction litigation, civil litigation, estate litigation, and family law. He has appeared before the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Bahij joined Meridian Law Group in May 2026 after being called to the Bar, having previously summered and articled at a full-service regional firm in Vancouver. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, in Criminology and Political Science from Simon Fraser University in 2019 and received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2025.

After immigrating to Canada at a young age and growing up in the Lower Mainland, Bahij developed a personal appreciation for the challenges individuals and families face when navigating unfamiliar systems and building new lives. This informs his empathetic, client‑centred approach to legal practice. Before entering the legal profession, he worked across retail, sales, and the justice system. These experiences developed his strong work ethic, practical problem‑solving abilities, and commitment to delivering efficient, results‑oriented solutions for his clients.

Bahij is a dedicated advocate who prioritizes resolving disputes outside the courtroom whenever possible, recognizing the financial and emotional costs of litigation. He does not hesitate to pursue litigation when necessary to protect his clients’ interests and achieve the best possible outcome. Bahij is fluent in Farsi/Dari and brings a deep appreciation for multicultural perspectives to his practice.

When not practicing law, you can find him lifting weights at the gym at dawn, swimming, hiking, exploring new trails, and snowboarding.
