Apurva Agarwal is a dedicated lawyer with a unique background in both technology and law, shaped by her studies in India, the United States, and Canada. She began her academic journey in India, earning a bachelor’s degree in technology in Computer Engineering. Her drive to explore new fields led her to pursue a law degree at the Campus Law Centre, Delhi University, where she ranked in the top 2% of applicants. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in Entertainment, Media, and Intellectual Property Law from the University of California, Los Angeles.

During her time in the U.S., Apurva worked as a Student Practitioner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, focusing on patent processing. After relocating to Vancouver, she completed her articles with a boutique litigation firm and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2022, followed by the California Bar in 2023. Since establishing her practice, Apurva has advised clients on intellectual property rights, contract law, business structuring, and corporate compliance. She has represented clients in the Small Claims Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia, leveraging her diverse expertise across jurisdictions.

Apurva is an active member of bar associations in British Columbia and California, with a particular passion for supporting small to mid-sized businesses, artists, and creative professionals. Her work has been published in The Trademark Magazine, including her article “Maradona’s Legacy in the Hands of His Heirs: Trademarks and Their Legacy Value,” which examines the economic impact of trademarks within estates.
